Fun day!

On friday the 13th of april 2018,We are going to be having a  fun day at Glen Taylor school with our house colours. I am in taurere that mean the colour GREEN! Today I got house captain so I am very proud of myself and all the hard work I did to get this role. We will be wearing our house coloured T - shirts and we will not do any learning on friday. I reckon on friday they will sale sausage sizzle for $1.00, water for $2.00 and ice blocks for $1.00. We be having the time of our life to finsh the term of. We wil play games and have a water fight with everyone and have lot's of fun. Mr Faalili will be doing the music because he is our d.J in Glen Taylor.

My name is lexiannah and I go to the magnificent Glen Taylor school. I am 11 years old and I am a year 7. I enjoy playing sports like Basketball, Rugby league, Soft ball and VolleyballI am a samoan girl who loves to dance and sing also be very loud. My favourite things to do is baking and cooking for my family. I like to play fortnite with my brother even though he is better than me.

My favourite subject is maths because I can learn new skills .
I am inspired by my brother and dad because they help me when I struggle in my maths . I want to achieve this year is to always complete my work on time and always try my best and never give up on my dreams to be a basket ball player.

# The Mystery of the haunted school

In Term 3, we got the chance to make our very own films. The theme for this year’s films, “confident, connected, actively involved lifelong learners”. Our teacher, Mrs Faalili put us into groups. My group was Brave bananas . We learnt about storyboarding, different types of shots and angles as well as how to hold the ipad correctly. Our film is a Action, Drama and Horror and it is about stay out of places that you have not been before. One thing I really liked about this whole filming process was getting to know one another and working together as a team..

In cybersmart we have been looking at blogs abd adding quality blog comment.

A quality blog comment must be POSITIVE, THOUGHTFUL & HELPFUL.

A quality comment must have a greeting, a compliment, feed back and a question if you have one.

We have been drafting our own comment and publishing them on people's blog post.

We have used screencastify to share our comment and explain if it is a quality comment and if they are a POSITIVE, THOUGHTFUL & HELPFUL comment. 

Rugby Tournament

Today we had a rugby tournament at sacred heart collage. When we got there we got the tent and Mone, Kingston and P.j were holding it with there strong muscles. We put the tent up it took like 8 people to do it after we had done the tent. We were playing games, Later we went to the field we were going to play on. The whole team came and we went on our knees and Mone said a little prayer for our first game. The first school we vs was Point engalnd. They were Strong, fast and positive team to vs. David had got the 1st try and kept on going. Then I saw the ball coming to me thats when I started running fast as I could to the try line the girl from point engalnd was chasing me but I was to fast and put the ball on the ground and scored the try. After all the games we came 3rd place but we were very gald we had come a place. Shout out to Point england and Stanhope!
